Just dreamed that someone accidentally gave everyone admin permissions on this website so obviously all hell broke loose. There were all kinds of different sections of the forum getting made and there was a feature where you could scroll through YouTube Shorts at the top of the page.

For all the identity issues I've had in the past, I'm genuinely so happy with the name I have right now. I've been using it on and off since August and consistently since November and in that time, I haven't wanted to change it at all.

I'm not feeling in the highest of spirits at the moment. For a while now, I've been feeling doubtful about my ability to write anything, in the sense that I feel that some of my friends are better at writing than I'll ever be. I don't like feeling like this and I don't know how I'm going to stop feeling like this.

The most important thing is that you're happy with what you make and that you enjoy making it. Comparing your work to other people's and judging it on that merit is a big pitfall that's best avoided. Obviously, there's nothing wrong with looking at your own work critically, thinking about what could be improved, and taking the steps to do that, and using other work that you enjoy as a guide to how you might do that. But really in anything in life you can almost definitely find someone with more experience and skill if you look for them (by definition, very few people are the "best"!), so you shouldn't get caught up in that. It's better to focus on what you personally get out of it.

TADC episode 2 came out a few days ago! Thoughts?
Gosh, this was so great. I enjoyed every second of it and it's really interesting overall. Pomni is getting more used to the idea of staying at the circus and her interaction with Gummigoo is so precious. I will say the Pomni sounds a bit off in the Spanish version but it's amazing! Can't wait for ep. 3! (Hopefully it doesn't take to long to release)

so sad that no shy guys got into SPM, they even had their own sprites but got cut, very saddening....

it's amazing how they could never figure out how to incorporate these guys in a mario platformer after smb2. i understand they can't become generic mooks like in yoshi games and captain toad treasure tracker because they can't just replace goombas, but they're a strong enough part of the mario brand that they ought to have appeared in a mario platformer somehow. they'd make good NPCs but they don't even show up as that, unless you count the audience that appears in SPM when you stunt.

I can't think of anywhere in the main story where they're thematically fit, but yeah having Shy Guys appear in the Pits of 100 Trials would've been nice
