Hello everyone! Whether you’re from the US or not, I hope you had a great 4th of July. Mine was certainly one I’ll never forget.
I’m visiting my girlfriend currently, and we had just gotten back from a walk with her dogs. She was not feeling well when we got back; she was shaking and sweating...
My Nintendo toy shelf! It's a work in progress, I hope to add Ocarina of Time figurines around Christmas time.
Regarding the Mario Sunshine and Luigi's Mansion figurines, the price has risen dramatically since my mom purchased them for me.
Thanks everyone! :)
By the way, if anyone is interested in my piece or is willing to give me feedback, feel free to message me for it. I'd greatly appreciate it.
There's this guy in Australia that is writing a book titled That's Autism, and my story will be in it. I'm nearly done with my piece, and the book itself should be released sometime next year. I wanted to share this with you guys since I know some of you have autism as well (I was diagnosed in...
After my previous post, I purchased Pokémon Sword. I had a lot of fun with this one, and wanted to do it again. So...
I started over! But fortunately, I was able to preserve many of the Pokémon I caught (via Pokémon Home). Scorbunny was my starter, and I got Squirtle on the Island of Armor...
I defeated the champion last night in Pokémon Sword. This game has really helped with my mood as of late. I love having a fictional universe to dive in to.
I've only played the Gen 4 games of the core series, so I'm quite behind. But learning that they're remaking DP has rekindled my interest, as Pearl was my first Pokémon game. So I'm interested in purchasing the Sword version of the game, based on the Pokémon that are exclusive to it.
I've done...
I said something similar in another thread, but 2020 was a very up and down year for me.
On March 11, I lost Wookiee, my cat of 15+ years. I didn't leave the property for the next three months due to the pandemic, and that probably made the grieving even more difficult. There was little to take...
My family is likely to move sometime in 2021 (hopefully Spring). I'll have my own space, like an in-law suite or tiny house.
Once that happens, my mom said she'd be open to the idea of getting a third cat to join my current two, Dougie and Darla (ages 3 and 1 respectively). While I am an animal...
With the recent announcements, I figured that was a good enough reason to bump this thread. The following spoiler tag lists all the upcoming Star Wars projects.
Black Panther is one of my favorite films, especially since it was the first film I saw when I started going to the movies regularly (rather than rarely) with my father.
RIP.
I was a bureaucrat briefly in 2009. I didn't do much with it, and went inactive pretty quickly.
I always got the impression that some resented me for that, but perhaps I'm simply being too hard on myself. Ancient history anyway.
My heyday was 2007, so there's very few of those people left anymore. And if they are here, they're probably under a different username (at least on the forum).
Don't be afraid to say hi if you know who I am!
I don't leave the house often anyway, so my life hasn't been affected too much. Although...
On March 11, I took my cat Wookiee to the vet (RIP). I did not leave the property again until June 6, which is when I adopted my cat Darla. So that's a three month period where I did not leave the...
Talk -- Coldplay
This song takes me back to when I first discovered it in 2007. I was 14, my cat Wookiee (RIP 2004-2020) was almost 3. I became an administrator in March of that year, and this place was still my primary social life.
I miss those times.
I'm ok with mine. It's my real-life initials and my birthday.
In December of 2006, I joined the wiki as Yoshi626 and changed my name to KPH2293 about five months later. As that was hundreds of years ago, I'm sure very few people remember that. But good on you if you do, old friend!
This entire premise sounds very familiar to me. Maybe not in the exact same terms, but I do relate in some ways.
I have high functioning autism, which I never received help for during my school years. This is because I was not diagnosed until well after it ended (age 22). My confidence has...
I've been dealing with a lot of grief lately over my cat's passing. It's hard to lose your best friend of 15 years. There's a large void.
Having my other cat by my side has been very therapeutic. I don't know what I would do without him.
Earlier today, I made the extremely difficult decision to have my best friend put to sleep. His name was Wookiee, and he was about 15 1/2 years old. I still remember the day mom brought him home (November 26, 2004, I was 11 years old).
He was everything I could have asked for in a companion. He...
I was born on February 2, 1993, and I've lived in Connecticut (USA) my entire life. I was diagnosed with high functioning autism at the age of 22. The diagnosis came late largely because my slightly younger brother has more severe autism that always overshadowed mine (I looked average in...
Had my upper back right tooth extracted yesterday. It has given me many problems over the years, and after the fillings were removed, only about a fourth of the tooth was left.
Fortunately, the dentist says I won't miss it because of how my jaw is aligned. I had a very hard time brushing back...
Kyle Proctor Holdgate. On Facebook, feel free to add me.
My middle name is such because I descend directly from the Proctor family, which has produced four men that governed Vermont at some point in their lives. Two of which I descend from directly.
Pardon the bump, but I recently purchased the Eevee version, and I'm loving it. I haven't played Go, but I find this very enjoyable.
Also, if somebody could help me out with some trade evolutions I would greatly appreciate it.
Re: 2018-19 NFL Playoffs (Super Bowl 53: New England Patriots Vs. Los Angeles Rams)
I am so pumped for this game. My birthday is the day before the Super Bowl, so I hope it's a good weekend.
I want six!
I dreamt I got in to a physical altercation with my dad (whom I get along great with in real life). Steve somehow learned of this and demoted me.
Bad dream all-around.
My older cat sneezed on me and it startled me awake.
In the past, he's also screamed in my face and headbutted me in the throat. Both also startled me awake.
And it's my other cat's 1st birthday. Here's a picture of the troublemaker watching me sleep:
I slept for 15 hours today. Once I've been in bed for a certain amount of time, I just lose the will to get up and do something, resulting in days being wasted like this. This is probably tied to my depression that comes and goes.
Also, my side hurts. Probably related to sleeping for so long.
Difficult for me to give a top ten since my interests fluctuate so often, but the NBA 2K series, the Madden NFL series, and the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic games are the ones I play the most frequently.
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is probably my favorite Mario game.
I recently launched another Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door playthrough. This is after wrapping up a playthrough I recently resumed after years of not playing (I don't even remember what year it was when I started that file). Even got a wireless Gamecube controller that I've been playing with.
